Typical starting points
The hybrid environment works, but nobody remembers exactly why. An audit demands a hardened mail infrastructure. The certificate on the hybrid connector is about to expire and the documentation is missing. Or a new gateway has to be inserted into a grown mail flow without anything getting stuck. In these situations we start by establishing the actual state before anything is changed: connectors, transport rules, accepted domains, submitting systems.
