Privacy policy

This policy explains how personal data is processed on adeptio.ch under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). As of 19 October 2026. This translation is provided for convenience; the German version is authoritative.

Processing and purposes

When the website is operated via Cloudflare, technical connection data (including the IP address) is processed in order to provide the website securely and reliably.

In addition, we use PostHog (data centre in the EU) to understand how the website is used and to improve it. Pseudonymous usage data is recorded, such as pages visited, clicks, time spent, device and browser, as well as session recordings in which entries in form fields are masked. The requests are routed via adeptio.ch. In the process, the IP address is transmitted to PostHog to determine location and network operator; PostHog does not store it. Cloudflare also derives the network and approximate location (country, region, city, network operator) from the connection, which are added to the analytics. Visits via links from our applications and cover letters contain a campaign code that allows us to attribute the visit to the respective campaign.

Contact form

Requests sent via the contact form are forwarded to us by email and used only to process the request. The details entered are processed (email address and request, optionally name, company and phone). To protect against automated requests we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which is only loaded when the form is filled in. Delivery is handled by SMTP2GO. If analytics is permitted, we also create the email address as a contact in PostHog; the content of the message is not transmitted.

Objection

You can object to analytics at any time via “Privacy settings” in the page footer or by rejecting or deleting cookies in your browser settings. The objection applies to the future.

Disclosure and transfers abroad

For operation we use Cloudflare (hosting, Turnstile), PostHog (analytics) and SMTP2GO (delivery of contact requests). Data may also be transferred abroad, in particular to the EU and the USA. Where there is no adequate level of data protection, the transfer is based on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Rights of data subjects

Data subjects can request information about the personal data processed as well as its correction or deletion. Such requests can be sent to the address above.
